Spring in the Mountains Merino Wrap – the warm version
Wrap yourself in luxurious, ethically-produced warmth as you enjoy this Spring in the Mountains shawl. It’s length and depth are perfect for a night at the symphony, while the colors… well, they’re unforgettable!
Select from 2 sizes – the “Narrow” version was created with just 2 skeins of the special yarn (see below), while the “Wide” version used an extra skein. See “Additional Information” tab for measurements.
The Design & Yarn:
A gorgeous colorway called “Rain Clouds at Dawn” from the “Snowy Mountains” collection by Great Southern Yarn, has been used for this version of the shawl.
The name “Spring in the Mountains” was coined as a result, but it doesn’t actually have to be Spring, nor do you have to be in the mountains to wear this…
The yarn itself is very special – an ethically-produced merino yarn grown especially for GSY. Read all about it here.
Includes a FREE shawl pin!
Shades of eggplant vie with storm-cloud blue, with splashes of ochre and mustard amidst the creamy clouds. When you look into the color-pot of this yarn, you can really visualize the dawn storm and how the rays of new day would hit the clouds.
If you’d rather a different color or size, please contact me to discuss your specific requirements.
