Using 100% hand dyed merino, I’ve made a hat and gloves set which is fun, comfortable and yet warmly practical. It is the perfect winter set, featuring a variegated blue hat and matching fingerless gloves.
This beanie is fitted, with a twist that extends from the crown right down to the forehead and the fingerless gloves are perfect for texting, driving, hanging washing out… almost anything you need to do in cold weather. They’ll keep your hands toasty, without impeding the movement of your fingers. They extend beyond the wrist crease and would tuck nicely into a sweater or a jacket.
The set features a spiral rib throughout which gives both the hat and the gloves texture and interest. The fit is, as demonstrated on my model, firm, without constricting, perfect for a medium woman’s head.

CARing for your handmade products:
I always recommend a gentle handwash in cool (almost cold) water, using a wool wash. Squeeze the solution through your garments and then rinse well. Roll in a towel (do NOT rub, or your garment could felt), then pull gently into shape and lie on a towel in the shade to dry.
